A Planet On The Edge Of Anarchy?
A Planet On The Edge Of Anarchy?

In a recent article, Michael Chossudovsky asks an interesting question:
Is there a relationship between the bombing of Lebanon and the inauguration of the World's largest strategic pipeline, which will channel more than a million barrels of oil a day to Western markets?
He continues:
Virtually unnoticed, the inauguration of the Ceyhan-Tblisi-Baku (BTC) oil pipeline, which links the Caspian sea to the Eastern Mediterranean, took place on the 13th of July, at the very outset of the Israeli sponsored bombings of Lebanon. One day before the Israeli air strikes, the main partners and shareholders of the BTC pipeline project, including several heads of State and oil company executives were in attendance at the port of Ceyhan. They were then rushed off for an inauguration reception in Istanbul, hosted by Turkey's President Ahmet Necdet Sezer in the plush surroundings of the Çýraðan Palace.
...
Pentagon Report on Climate Change from 2004, where it was stated:
A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a 'Siberian' climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world. The document predicts that abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies. The threat to global stability vastly eclipses that of terrorism, say the few experts privy to its contents.
'Disruption and conflict will be endemic features of life,' concludes the Pentagon analysis. 'Once again, warfare would define human life.'
Maybe the "war on terror" was never really about terrorism. Maybe that that was just the excuse. Maybe the global elite have known for a long time about natural earth-shattering (literally?) events in the very near future, and they simply created a "war on terror" behind which they could forcibly re-shape the political and demographic landscape of the Middle East in order to ensure their own survival during the upcoming "global anarchy", as the Pentagon report puts it.
Food for thought, if nothing else.

UK Govt Sources Confirm War With Iran Is On
In the last few days, I learned from a credible and informed source that a former senior Labour government Minister, who continues to be well-connected to British military and security officials, confirms that Britain and the United States
"... will go to war with Iran before the end of the year."

Climate change fueling wildfires
Average fire season has grown more than 2 months longer; fires are more frequent
ROBERT LEE HOTZ
Los Angeles Times
In a devastating symptom of global warming, the changing weather of the West has stoked a rise in large wildfires over the past 34 years as spring comes earlier, mountain snows melt sooner and forests dry to tinder in a fever of rising temperatures, scientists reported Thursday.
More than land use changes or forest management practices, the researchers concluded, the changing climate was the most important factor driving a four-fold increase in the average number of large wildfires in the Western United States since 1970.
All told, the average fire season has grown more than two months longer, while fires have become more frequent, burn longer and harder to extinguish. They destroy 6.5 times more land than in the 1970s, the researchers found.

People in the Arctic are living at the front line of climate change. Our reporter Doreen Walton spent two months living and hunting with an Inupiat family in Barrow, Alaska, to see how the changes affect their daily lives. Here's her three-part diary.
